The path to homeownership should not be a maze.
We started Iowa Mortgage Solutions because too many good Iowa families were being told no. A bank would look at a credit score or a self-employed tax return, decide it did not fit the one product on its shelf, and send people home discouraged.
A broker works differently. We are not tied to a single lender, so when one says no, we find the one that says yes on fair terms. Over the years we have built programs around the obstacles we saw most, including our IMS Homebuyer Grant for buyers short on cash and our 1% Down Mortgage for renters ready to own.
The goal has never changed. Find each borrower the right loan for their situation, explain it plainly, and stay with them until they are holding the keys.
